The Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk is a versatile, medium-lift utility helicopter primarily used by the U.S. Army and other militaries worldwide. It's known for its ruggedness, reliability, and ability to perform a wide range of missions, including troop transport, cargo delivery, medical evacuation, and search and rescue. Approximately 5,000 Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters and its variants have been built. This includes the original UH-60A model and subsequent upgraded versions like the UH-60L and UH-60M. The 5,000th helicopter was delivered in January 2023.
