The Piper PA-12 Super Cruiser is an American three-seat, high-wing, single-engine light aircraft built by Piper Aircraft between 1946 and 1948. Originally engineered as an upgraded modification of the wartime Piper J-5 Cub Cruiser, it features a distinct cabin layout where the pilot sits solo in the front seat and two passengers sit side-by-side in the back. Today, it remains highly sought after in the general aviation community as a rugged, adaptable, and budget-friendly alternative to the famous PA-18 Super Cub. Piper Aircraft built exactly 3,760 PA-12 Super Cruisers between 1946 and 1948.
