Introduced in 1980, the Learjet 25G is a twin-engine, high-speed business jet powered by General Electric CJ610-8A engines. It was designed for a higher cruise speed and longer range than previous models. The 25G also broke long-distance speed and fuel consumption records in 1982. A total of 23 Learjet 25G aircraft were built. The Learjet 25G was introduced in 1980. This variant was produced alongside the Learjet 25D, which had a longer production run, ending in 1985 with 164 units built.Â
