The Grumman S-2F3AT Turbo Tracker is a specialized, turboprop-powered aerial firefighting aircraft heavily utilized by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire). Originally built as a carrier-based naval anti-submarine warfare plane, it was converted by Marsh Aviation to drop chemical fire retardant on wildland fires. A total of 23 Grumman S-2 airframes were converted.
