The Grob G 115 Tutor (designated as the Tutor T1 by the UK Royal Air Force) is a two-seat, single-engine military primary training aircraft designed and manufactured by Grob Aircraft in Germany. Built predominantly from lightweight carbon composite materials, it serves as the foundational stepping stone for student military pilots, university air squadrons, and air cadets across the United Kingdom and several other nations. 377 to 400 Grob G 115 aircraft (including all civilian and military variants like the Grob Tutor) have been built. Production of this carbon-composite, two-seat trainer ceased in the early 2000s, though the aircraft remains in active service globally.
