The de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver is a legendary Canadian single-engined, high-wing, propeller-driven aircraft. It is renowned for its short takeoff and landing (STOL) capabilities and versatility in rugged, remote environments. It's a favorite among bush pilots and is often hailed as one of the greatest bush planes ever built. A total of 1,657 de Havilland DHC-2 Beaver aircraft were built by de Havilland Canada between 1948 and 1967, according to historical aviation resources. This makes it the largest production run of any Canadian-designed aircraft.
