Cessna 170B

The Cessna 170B is a legendary four-seat, single-engine general aviation taildragger produced by the Cessna Aircraft Company between 1952 and 1956. Often celebrated as the definitive version of the 170 series, the 170B introduced revolutionary aerodynamic enhancements and served as the direct design foundation for the iconic Cessna 172 Skyhawk. Cessna produced 5,136 of the 170 model, with the vast majority of those being the 170B variant. The 170B was introduced in 1952 and manufactured until 1956.
