The CAC CA-25 Winjeel (meaning "young eagle" in a local Victorian Indigenous language) is an Australian-designed and manufactured three-seat military training aircraft developed by the Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation (CAC). It served as the primary basic-to-advanced trainer for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) from 1955 until 1975, subsequently shifting roles to Forward Air Control (FAC) until its ultimate military retirement in 1994. A total of 64 aircraft related to the project were built by the Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation, consisting of 2 prototypes (CA-22) and 62 production CA-25 Winjeel basic trainers.
