The Brantly B-2 is an American two-seat light helicopter. It was designed by Newby O. Brantly to be a simpler and more affordable helicopter for private buyers, after his earlier B-1 model was unsuccessful. The B-2 first flew on February 21, 1953, and received its FAA type certificate in 1959. A total of 334 Brantly B-2 helicopters were built. This two-seat helicopter had its first flight in 1953 and entered production in 1958. There are also two related variants, the B-2A and B-2B, with some sources indicating a total of around 500 helicopters across all Brantly B-2 variants.
