Stinson Model A

The Stinson Model A (also known as the Stinson 6000A Tri-motor) was a 1930s low-wing commercial airliner and the final tri-motor design produced by the Stinson Aircraft Company. Introduced in 1934 as an economical feederliner, it was built to bridge the gap between older high-wing aircraft and modern, all-metal monoplanes like the Boeing 247 and Douglas DC-2. A total of 31 Stinson Model A aircraft were built by the Stinson Aircraft Company between 1934 and 1936.
