The Helio H-250 Courier (marketed as the Courier Mark II or "Caballero") is a light, short takeoff and landing (STOL) utility aircraft certified in early 1965. It was developed by Helio Aircraft as a more economical, lower-cost alternative to previous models. The H-250 swapped out the complex geared powerplants of its predecessors for a simpler, direct-drive engine. Exactly 41 units of the Helio H-250 Courier (marketed as the Courier II or Caballero) were built.
