The Embraer C-390 Millennium is a twin-engine, jet-powered military transport aircraft designed and produced by the Brazilian aerospace corporation Embraer. Positioned as a 21st-century replacement for aging turboprop airlifters like the Lockheed Martin C-130 Hercules, the C-390 serves as a medium-lift tactical transport that delivers faster cruise speeds, longer range, and a higher payload capacity than legacy aircraft. A total of 16 Embraer C-390 Millennium aircraft have been built, which includes 3 prototypes and 13 production aircraft. Of these, at least 14 are actively in service across the Brazilian, Portuguese, and Hungarian Air Forces.
