The British Aerospace 146 (BAe 146), also known as the Avro RJ series, is a medium-sized commercial aircraft manufactured by British Aerospace and later BAE Systems in the United Kingdom. Its production ran from 1983 until 2002.  A total of 387 BAe 146 and Avro RJ aircraft were built. This includes all variants of the BAe 146 (100, 200, and 300) and the Avro RJ series.Â
