The Aero Commander 1121 Jet Commander is a pioneering 1960s-era twin-engine business jet originally designed and manufactured by the American company Aero Commander. Notably, the aircraft program was later sold to Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI), where its design evolved into the highly successful IAI Westwind business jet. A total of 150 Aero Commander 1121 Jet Commanders were built. Originally developed in the United States, production later shifted to Israel in 1968, where the design was eventually evolved and manufactured as the IAI Westwind.
