The Ryan STM-S2 is a classic, 1930s-designed low-wing monoplane military sport trainer manufactured by the Ryan Aeronautical Company. Notable for its polished aluminum semi-monocoque fuselage, wire-braced wings, and tandem open cockpits, the STM-S2 specifically designated a variant equipped with interchangeable landing gear or EDO Model 1965 floats for water operations. There were 13 Ryan STM-S2 aircraft built.
