The Piper PA-31-350 Navajo Chieftain is a highly popular twin-engine, cabin-class piston aircraft manufactured by Piper Aircraft. Introduced in 1973 as a "stretched" variant of the original PA-31 Navajo, the Chieftain became the most successful and heavy-hauling model in the Navajo lineup. It remains widely utilized today for regional charters, corporate transport, and light cargo operations. A total of 1,825 Piper PA-31-350 Navajo Chieftain aircraft were built. Production for this stretched, nine-passenger variant ran from 1973 until 1984.
