The IAI Astra SPX, later known as the Gulfstream G100, is a midsize business jet known for its range, speed, and comfort. It was developed by Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI) and later acquired by Gulfstream Aerospace. The SPX is a refined version of the earlier Astra models, featuring winglets, aerodynamic improvements, and a redesigned airframe. A total of 77 Astra SPX aircraft were built. The Astra SPX was later rebranded as the Gulfstream G100 after Gulfstream acquired Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI) in 2001. The aircraft were manufactured by IAI until the acquisition, and production continued until 2005.
