The Airbus A220 is a highly efficient, clean-sheet designed narrow-body passenger jet, originally developed by Bombardier as the CSeries before being rebranded under the Airbus family in 2018. Purpose-built for the 100-160 seat market, the aircraft is known for its wide-body comfort, exceptionally large windows, and reduced carbon footprint. Airbus has built and delivered 526 A220 family aircraft as of mid-2026. Originally developed and marketed as the Bombardier CSeries, production takes place at the primary assembly line in Mirabel, Canada, and a U.S. facility in Mobile, Alabama
